Lunchtime History Talk – Maylands at War

Keith Cundale will present “Maylands at War”, a talk that we associate with ANZAC Day. The talk describes how Wars have affected the people of Maylands and will also include some short biographies of local men and women who served in the War – not all of whom survived. It will also cover ways in which the community remembers its service men and women: for example, the war memorial, the lone pine and various honour boards around the suburb.
