Coral Thompson grew up living at about 12 Tenth Avenue in Maylands.
Coral’s mother had been a dance teacher.
Coral attended the Maylands Primary School.
In 1950, Coral Thompson was a young dance teacher running a dance school and giving lessons in the Lyric Theatre and at the Presbyterian Church in Maylands.
In 1954, she married Ray Hawks.
After her marriage, she lived in Railway Parade (around number 300) and held dance classes in the Caledonian Hall.
Coral reportedly died after a long battle with cancer.
