G-AUFE (later VH-UFE) was a De Havilland 50 aircraft registered to West Australian Airways (WAA) and later to ANA.
It was one of the three De Havilland 50s constructed at the Maylands Workshops for use on WAA’s North West Route. It was completed and test flown by the end of 1926.
When DH 50 G-AUFE was damaged at the Busselton airfield in 1927, its fuselage was trucked back to Maylands by Geo. Wheatherall, Pat Hawes, Frank Poulten and George Leach.
In 1930, G-AUFE was re-registered with the Australian registration of VH-UFE rather than the U.K. “G” registration.
