VH-UFN was a West Australian Airways DH50A aircraft.

Our Frank Colquhoun collection includes:

  • FC_197. 1930. Noonkanbah. The WAA DH50A aircraft VH-UFN as it finished its belly run crash landing. The displaced undercarriage damaged the lower port mainplane and broke propeller blades. The passengers Sam Thomas and ‘Dad’ Cunningham, along with crew member Frank Colquhuon were shaken but unharmed. This image also appears on page 26 of Frank Colquhoun’s 2001 book Cockpit and Spanner
  • FC_286. B&W photograph. Aircraft VH-UFN
  • FC 292. B&W photograph. 1920, Derby, Western Australia. The dismantled components of West Australian Airways DH50A aircraft VH-UFN loaded aboard the 6-wheeler Morris truck of trucker George Lovell outside his Derby home.
