MAYLANDS HISTORICAL AND PENINSULA ASSOCIATION

Stanley Hugh Sharp served with the 28th Australian Infantry Battalion of the Australian Imperial Force in WWI. His service number was 695 and he held the rank of Private.

He was killed in action in France on  11 August 1918 aged 30 and is buried in Heath Cemetery, Picardie, France.

His name is located at panel 114 in the Commemorative Area at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.

‘Maylands, Perth, Western Australia, Australia’ was recorded as his ‘place of association’.
