MAYLANDS HISTORICAL AND PENINSULA ASSOCIATION

Oliver Harry Cadwallader served with the 11th Australian Infantry Battalion of the Australian Imperial Force in WWI. His service number was 6463 and he held the rank of Lance Corporal.

He was killed in action in France on 22 April 1918 aged 23 and is buried in Meteren Military Cemetery, Meteren, Nord Pas de Calais,France.

His name is located at panel 61 in the Commemorative Area at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.

‘Maylands, Perth, Western Australia, Australia’ was recorded as his ‘place of association’.
