Michael Lynn was born in 1932 and died in 2013.
At the age of 14 he was apprenticed to a carpenter.
He did National Service in England.
At Perth’s Channel 7, he built sets for productions.
He also supervised and built floats for Perth’s Christmas pageant.
He made scale models and made specialised furniture.
He lived in Maylands for some 18 years – in Fourth Avenue and in Joseph Street.
He was a member of Bayswater Art Society and Ellis House Art Centre and a founding member of the fine wood working association.
His woodwork won many prizes.
