In 1919, Killowen was an impressive private Mt Lawley residence with a swimming pool.
Following the death of R T Robinson, Killowen was offered for sale at auction in 1933
Killowen became part of St Anne’s Mercy Hospital, which in turn became the St John of God Hospital at Mt Lawley.
The City of Bayswater 2006 Municipal Inventory listed Killowen/Mercy Hospital/St John of God Hospital at 5 Thirlmere Road, Mt Lawley.
