Horrie Miller was a partner in the MacRobertson Miller Aviation Company.

One of the commemorative plaques at Aerodrome Park in Maylands honours ‘Horrie Miller: Pioneer aviator and airline operator’.

Our Frank Colquhoun collection includes:

  • Image FC 156 showing the Bristol M1-C World War One fighter owned by Horrie Miller. It was brought to Maylands by Miller in the mid-thirties and gave spectacular displays of aerobatics. Miller eventually donated it to a museum in South Australia
  • Image FC 385 from 1951 showing Hudson Fysh of QANTAS and Horrie Miller of MMA at Glenroy Abattoir in the west Kimberley region, while visiting the novel Air-Beef transport scheme
  • Image FC 391 showing Horrie Miller in front of his Wackett aircraft in Broome following his retirement from active service
