MAYLANDS HISTORICAL AND PENINSULA ASSOCIATION

Harry Wilson served with the 51st Australian Infantry Battalion of the Australian Imperial Force in WWI. His service number was 2030 and he held the rank of Private.

He was killed in action in France on  2 April 1917 aged 31 and is commemorated at the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, Picardie, France.

His name is located at panel 154 in the Commemorative Area at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.

‘Maylands, Perth, Western Australia, Australia’ was recorded as his ‘place of association’.
