MAYLANDS HISTORICAL AND PENINSULA ASSOCIATION

Harry Kay served with the 52nd Australian Infantry Battalion of the Australian Imperial Force in WWI. His service number was 3830 and he held the rank of Private.

He was killed in action in France on 3 September 1916 aged 20 and is buried in Serre Road Cemetery No 1, Beaumont Hamel, Picardie, France.

His name is located at panel 155 in the Commemorative Area at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.

‘Maylands, Perth, Western Australia, Australia’ was recorded as his ‘place of association’.
