MAYLANDS HISTORICAL AND PENINSULA ASSOCIATION

Harold Wilfred Casey served with the 16th Australian Infantry Battalion of the Australian Imperial Force in WWI. His service number was 238A and he held the rank of Private.

He was killed in action in Belgium on 4 February 1918 aged 24 and is buried in Spoilbank Cemetery, Ypres, Flanders, Belgium.

His name is located at panel 79 in the Commemorative Area at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.
