Opened in 2012, this park commemorates the Maylands Aerodrome. The memorial includes:

  • Information panels on the history of the aerodrome and some key moments in the development of aviation in WA including planes, pilots and airlines.
  • Some of the original landing lights for the runway. One still stands in its original position (now next to Waterland)
